Third Party Review

AG can be called on to perform independent third party review of designs of our peers to provide additional assurance for future projects. AG can also provide investigative services following design failure.

Validation, Verification and Certification

AG has considerable first-hand experience in the statutory requirements for validation, verification and certification, which form an important part of most oil and gas developments, and have worked with a number of classification societies.  AG is also able to provide advice on compliance requirements. Senior AG personnel currently sit on technical steering committees for industry rules and codes of practice, which essentially define the requirements for design and installation, putting AG in an undeniably effective position.

Expert Witness

AG personnel have been called upon as expert witnesses for high-profile geotechnical engineering cases that have been beset by problems, or have caused death or injury.  This includes onshore projects where such circumstances occur more regularly.  This aspect of our consultancy relies heavily on the experience of our senior personnel and the sophisticated analytical techniques which can be applied.
