One of Advanced Geomechanic's Founding Directors, Professor Mark Randolph, has been elected to the Royal Society. The Royal Society is a Fellowship of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.
This is a well-deserved honour for Mark, who has led the way in the development of many aspects of geotechnics, especially those associated with offshore engineering. Geotechnics is of course one of the unsung sciences. We are all especially proud of Mark who has had a direct influence in mentoring the career development of so many AG personnel, and had a hand in many of the design methods we use today. We are very fortunate to have someone of Mark's calibre and experience working with us at AG and applaud this remarkable honour.
